Your Mountain is Waiting!!!

First things first, I need to apologise for how late this post is coming... I have been trying to get it done ever since I did this wonderful session and what with my kiddies being back at school and me being back at my 'other' day job, the weeks just seem to have to run away from me.

Back at the end of August, when the UK was enjoying a truly wonderful summer season (for a change ) I got to spend an amazing sunny afternoon out with some of the funniest and sweetest little kiddies. They were all, whether they realised it or not, about to embark on one of life's most exciting journeys. They were about to start BIG SCHOOL!!! This was such a wonderful way for this lovely group of friends to capture a special moment, which I hope they will one day look back on and smile at and possibly even share with their own children.

We started off capturing some individual portraits of each one with some fun props we had to hand. I loved that this gave each child the opportunity to let their personality and character shine through. And boy were there some characters! We then followed that up by simply exploring and enjoying the wonderful surroundings of South Hill Park. They were climbing trees, searching for painted rocks, throwing sticks into the lake and hunting for daisies.

I honestly did have the best time with these children and I really do hope that they enjoyed it too. I also hope that they are all thoroughly enjoying their school journeys so far.
